Copyright Symbol

A whole lot more people than you can imagine think that you need a specific font to be able to insert the copyright symbol © (the circle with the c inside it) into a text document or graphics design, however this is simply just not true. There is absolutely no special font that you will need to be able to accomplish making the copyright symbol. As you let up on the number 9, you let up on the ALT key at the very same time. For Mac users it is Option + G. The very same procedure is followed for Mac users. Simply hold down the Option button and press 'g' at the same time to insert the symbol anywhere you'd like on your text document or graphics design.

Another way to create the copyright symbol is using the character map in Windows. This can be especially useful for those using a laptop because you aren't able to use a keypad. You can find it located under Programs>Accessories>System Tools>Character Map.

If you still would like to find an even easier way to make the copyright symbol, you can simply do a search on the web for the copyright symbol, then you can simply copy and paste it into your document or graphics page. You can even save the symbol to a text file for later use, to copy and paste again and again, as you need the symbol.

There are just a few very short steps you will need to follow to copy and paste the copyright symbol. Simply hold down the left mouse button as you drag your cursor over the top of the copyright symbol you are copying. This will highlight the symbol. After you have done that, then you can release the left mouse button. Move your cursor onto the text document or graphics design that you would like the copyright symbol to be placed. Then all you have to do is click the right mouse button and select paste. The copyright symbol is then placed in your text document or graphics design in the spot you've chosen to add the symbol.
